Synopsis: With Dearly Devoted Dexter, author Jeff Lindsay continues the story of Dexter Morgan, a nice guy who just happens to be a serial killer. A police blood spatter analyst during the day and a homicidal maniac by the light of the moon, Dexter is a peculiarly likeable monster who only kills bad guys.

I liked this book because I have watched the Dexter series, and all the episodes are about this book.

It will happen next saturday the most waited sport day in Europe in this season. Manchester United, the premier league champion, against Barcelona, the stars league champion, dueling in the final match of UEFA champions league.

This teams are considered the two best all around the world now. They had a hard way to arrive in this final, including the elimination of Real Madrid(by Barcelona) and Bayern Munchen(by Man. United). A lot of the best players in the world will be in this match, including the best: Lionel Messi. But Manchester relies on the strength of their group and the goals of Wayne Rooney.

Nerd Pride Day

 Have you ever read “The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy”?  Have you ever watched Star Wars?

 If you didn’t, please, stop reading it right now. This text may not be interesting for you.  In fact, if you really want to read it, go ahead, because like Sheldon*, I don’t care.  Probably it’s because I know that my English teacher is the only one that is going to read – he just wants to find mistakes, in fact nobody is interested on this text. And that includes me.

Now back to the future theme of this posting. Let’s talk about 25^th of May.

Spain began with this “Orgullo friki”( http://www.elmarginado.com/orgullofriki/index.html ) –  clever and fans of science fiction, HQ’s and RPG, at this day - I don’t know if it’s the only day of the year-  are proud to scream out loud that thy are nerds or, you know, one of those new types  of nerds. I made a test and I’m supposed to be geek or a fangirl, a nerd less smart, who likes and knows about nerd stuff but with social life.  Well, I found the link of the test on twitter and now I’d be losing time to find because it is in Portuguese and I saw it two days ago. If you know how fast things can change on Twitter, you also know this specific tweet may be light-years from distance by now. Where did I stop?

 Geek Pride Day, do want to know more about it? Why for Heaven’s sake is it celebrated on 25^th of May? What about Towel Day? They explain everything to you.

The Pietà is a masterpiece created by Michelango, one of the most skillfull artist of the renaissence.
This sculpture houses St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.
I don't have words to explain the beauty of this artpiece, all the details were made by
Michellangelo, the eyes of Maria, looking at Jesus dying, transmit all the pain
that she might had felt. And as everybody know, this is not the only
great art made by michellangelo, The Creation of Adam, painted on the ceiling
of the Sistine Chapel, it's also a masterpiece.
I Like these arts the most, beacuse they were made on something
that i realy believe, on God, on good things

Priest

This time I'll talk to you about a movie that has just come to Brazil in theaters. Priest is a great option for those who enjoy stories of suspense, monsters and loves taking a few scares.

The movie is set in an alternate world, a world ravaged by centuries of war between men and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary warrior priest and from the last war against the vampires who now live in obscurity among other unwanted human inhabitants, trampled on the walls of cities governed by the Church. When her niece is kidnapped by a band of murderous vampires, the priest breaks his sacred oath to venture into an obsessive quest to find her before she becomes one of him. He is joined in this crusade by the boyfriend of her niece, a young sheriff with nimble fingers, and a former priest warrior who possesses incredible fighting skills. Thus, begins an uphill battle because its target is also its demand.

The film version is also available in 3D to make us even more inside the battles and even closer to vampires - ugh, that fear! Rsrs

Mano Menezes Summoning

Mano Menezes, the Brazilian national Team Coach, made his summoning for the game against Netherlands on May, 19.

He chose 28 players, from Brazil and Europe, but the most commented, was the summoning of Fabio, the goalkeeper of Cruzeiro, that has been considered by all the press the best of Brazil.

Ronaldo, the best centerforward of the last 20 years, will make his last game with the Brazilian team, completing the ending of his brilliant career.

I think that the list of summoning players won’t change so much than this for the World Cup, just if some new talent appear

Meet Sarah Mason's book

I could write about the famous series I'm addict, as Harry Potter or Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Narnia Chronicles, or every best seller I've read and loved, but I really want to write about books that most Brazilians, unfortunately, don't know. Well, the author Sarah Mason,  the queen of romantic comedy, won the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year for her first book “Playing James”- and it is the one I’m writing about. Holly is a reporter who may follow each James’ footstep; James is a detective who hates reporters. Holly has good humor; sometimes people cannot tolerate James’ bad humor. Holly says food she doesn’t like instead of swearing; James can be such a dirty mouth when he’s furious – and he is always furious when Holly is around. Holly doesn’t want to get married soon; James' wedding is in three months. James is very clever, careful and attentive; Holly can’t walk without falling in the ground, she is funny and absent minded. Of course it’s obvious what’s going to happen but still delicious know how it’s going to happen. Funny and smart, “Playing James” is one of my favorite books of the entire world, as its successor, “High Society” – in which Holly’s sister is the main character- and every time I re-read one of them I laugh like it was the first time.  By Dani

PES 2011

Pro Evolution Soccer has always been regarded as a quality game of football, but PES 2011 will suffer the biggest improvements made ​​to date. Main features include a total freedom on each action, a complete reconstruction of all the animations, new dribbling skills and the Master League mode online.

Everybody knows the competition between Pro Evolution Soccer and Fifa, so, every year both try to surprise and overcome the other. PES 2011 is available to Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC's.
